Couple of questions for the potential buyer - Guild Wars Forums

hey all
I am contemplating buying guild wars but had a few questions

how do you guys like it? scale 1-10
I am big into taming creatures is this a good game for taming?
Do you think there will be good content added? I am more into single player stuff. Like mounts? houses? etc

I just left SWG cuz the combat upgrade sucked so I am looking for something else. Guild wars seems cool but just wanted to get your guys' opinions about the ups and downs of the game?

i give it a 9, there are a few things id change, but its a great game, ive played both diablo2 and wow, and this game beats them both

diablo2 was free, but was riddled with cheaters and the servers were bad, wow has good support but has a monthly fee, guild wars has no monthly fee and also has great support, no cheaters and great gameplay

rangers have a taiming skill, and for the most part u can tame any animal that u see wandering around

as for content added, guild wars has said they will be releasing extra chapters that will cost money but be optional

the game is big on working together and stratgey, u cannot just run around by yourself and destroy everything, however if you want to play by yourself and dont want to rely on other players u can grab healer/warrior/mage npcs to join your party
